47/48re Transmission - Stock

Our “stock” 47re and 48re builds are still tons better than they were from the factory, and likely no comparison to the worn out and abused unit you’re currently having to rely on. 

Build List:

• Main case and OD housing cleaned, inspected, deburd, flat sanded, and painted with VHT epoxy paint. (Unless the customer specifies another option)
• All new clutches and steels throughout using the stock count in each section. Although we prefer Raybestos and/or Borg Warner, brand can vary, but they will always be name brand legit parts. No off brand junk!

• New front and rear band.
• New seals/gaskets, and we always use the old style felt filter with a bonded pan gasket.
• New harness with OD/LU solenoids, pressure transducer, and governor pressure solenoid. All new. 
• Valvebody is completely disassembled, inspected, repaired as needed, flat sanded, and reassembled. 
• New thrust washers and Torrington bearings.
• Sonnax billet intermediate servo cover.
• Pump is thoroughly inspected and goes in the core pile if it’s anywhere close to being out of spec. 
• And finally, a billet single disc converter tops everything off.
